Mt. San Jacinto update

I got a voicemail from the Mt. San Jacinto Ranger Station.  They said that the dates I am scheduled to be in the backcountry will not work because of the fire.  The fire is contained but they still plan to keep the wilderness closed during my August backpacking dates.  Someone is supposed to call me back to reschedule my permit dates for a later time.  So that's good at least.  I just don't know yet when those dates will be.
